Worship

Sundays: 9:45 AM Sunday School
  11:00 AM Morning Worship
Lunch after WorshipThe benefits of Christian fellowship are an important aspect of our worship.  Together we give hope, support and strength to each other even as we relax and share a meal after Sunday worship.  Our gathering place is the food court at North DeKalb Mall food court, where tables and chairs are moved together allowing us to sit as a group and enjoy good food and entertaining conversations.  Look for the long table of smiling faces!

Handicapped Access
All are welcome at University Heights United Methodist Church.  To accommodate members and guests with physical disabilities, the church complies with ADA standards for parking, building entrance and exit, and a dedicated restroom.

Music Ministry

Music is an important part of worship at University Heights.  Traditional hymns and anthems, as well as organ and piano music, blend with contemporary music as we lift our voices in praise to God.

Our Chancel Choir sings each Sunday morning at the 11:00 a.m. service and rehearses Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m.  They sing a wide variety of music – classical and traditional anthems, hymn-tune arrangements, early American hymns, and spirituals are in their repertoire.  New singers are always welcome to come be a part of this choir.

We have three octaves of Schulmerich handbells at University Heights.  Our handbell choir rehearses Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and rings in worship about once a month.  Anyone who reads music, even just a little, is welcome to give this group a try.
